A broadly appealing Danish comedy-drama in the vein of Rain Man, this stars Sophie Gr�b�l (she of the famous sweaters in the Nordic Noir The Killing) as Inger, who is neurodiverse and can be prone to anxiety attacks. She reluctantly comes on a Parisian coach trip with her weary but sympathetic sister Ellen and her gruff brother-in-law Vagn. After some friction with the other tourists, Rose begins to win them over with her directness and lack of self-pity. The film is set in the aftermath of Princess Diana�s tragic death, a detail that contextualises the narrative in both individual and collective trauma. This is ultimately not a tragic tale though, and you will leave the cinema moved and uplifted, particularly by Gr�b�l�s expertly underplayed performance.
